My favorite color is purple, could you tell?   :-)  My favorite flower is the purple Pansy.  My favorite music is Oldies!

I was a Secretary/Typist/Receptionist, who decided to become a Stay-at-Home Mom when my last child was born in 1987.

With my children growing up and moving on, my skills started to flutter away into cyberspace.   So, instead of letting them slip away completely, my hubby brought home the dreaded PC!

I looked at it for months... dusted it, moved it from room to room, dusted it again...   I swore to him that I would NEVER type on a 'dumb terminal' again, as I had for 7 years at our local phone company back in the 70's.

Then one evening, my hubby had fired up the computer, and was doing something on it... from the other room I heard, "It's a hole in one!", and it wasn't my hubby's voice!   I then decided to investigate... I tip-toed into the room, looked over his shoulder and saw a golf course on the computer monitor!   I was shocked!   It was in color!   It wasn't orange monochrome!   My hubby then said, "See, I told you that you'd like it."

And you all know that NO WOMAN likes to hear
"I TOLD YOU SO!"   LOL!

Well, needless to say, after that night, the computer no longer belonged to my hubby.   I confiscated it, found fun card games, found card making programs, learned how to make graphics, found fun gaming sites and the rest is history!   LOL!

I ran a Bulletin Board System (BBS) in my house from 1991-1995.

Then came the Internet...

I took Free HTML and Graphics courses on-line at Web Tech University, and then I began this page on January 25, 1999.

Every graphic set on this site was made by me, unless otherwise noted. (some graphic pictures were found from various Free sites, and/or I used graphics from my copyright free CD's.)  I give credit where credit is due for all graphics not made by me.

One of my favorite sites was the where you could find me playing Spades.
(from 1998 until the Zone closed it's site in June of 2006) 

Now you can find me trying to draw pictures with my mouse at , it's sort of like Pictionary. You can chat with others while trying to guess the pictures. It's a blast!

After putting all of my new found HTML skills to use, I volunteered as a Community Leader at GeoCities for about 2 years, until Yahoo bought them out.

I taught HTML 101 at and then retired after a year.

I am no longer teaching, but if you need help with HTML, please don't hesitate to ask me! :-)

That makes me a Pisces.   You know, the fish that never knows if she's coming or going.
Boy, they sure picked that one on time!   LOL!

I am Italian from my Mom's side of the family, and told that I am a heinz 57 from my father's side.
(I never got to know my father, he was a Dead Beat Dad!)

I was born in Washington, DC.   Growing up I lived in Maryland, Virginia, Florida, North Carolina, Texas, Pennsylvania,New Jersey, New York, and Hawaii then settled back in Maryland.   My body has never recuperated from the warmth and kindness I felt when I lived in the South.   I abhor cold weather now! When I win the million dollar lottery, I'm moving to Florida! :-)   I'd go back to Hawaii, but then I'd be too far away from my family.

I originally made this web page to keep in touch with my Mom who I miss terribly,
(and who, btw, abandoned me and retired to Florida!).   Just joking Mom! :-)
But now my site has  taken on it's own life so to speak... LOL!
